Thai Airways Introduces A320 Business Class for Regional Flights

Thai Airways has officially launched Royal Silk Business Class on its Airbus A320 aircraft, enhancing the premium travel experience on short-haul flights within Thailand and across Asia.


This move marks a significant step in elevating regional travel standards, offering passengers a more comfortable and seamless journey.


The newly introduced Royal Silk Class features 12 spacious recliner seats with a 38-inch pitch and 5-inch recline, providing a superior level of comfort on single-aisle aircraft. While the A320s do not include seatback entertainment screens, travelers can access Thai Vision Connect via WiFi on their personal devices.


Expanded Routes Across Thailand and AsiaThai Airways plans to roll out its A320 business class across its entire 20-aircraft fleet by the second quarter of this year.


Initially, the service will be available on eight domestic routes from Bangkok to Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Khon Kaen, Udon Thani, Ubon Ratchathani, Phuket, Hat Yai, and Krabi.

Beyond Thailand, the upgraded A320s will also operate on selected flights to over 20 destinations across Asia, including Taiwan, Hong Kong, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, India, Nepal, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka.
